The daughter of a cowboy and a
mail-order bride, Sally Berneathy has romance in her genes. Factor in the
grandfather in 1890's Louisiana who stole the crowd at political rallies by
standing on a flat bed wagon and telling stories, and it's no surprise she ended
up writing romance novels.

Sally's earliest memories center around sitting in the front yard on summer evenings,
watching the lightning bugs and listening to her family tell stories. That's
what she tries to do with her books...lead people on wondrous journeys as her
family led her while they sat under the stars.

Sally has sold a total of 16 novels and
her books have been translated into 11 foreign languages. Her books have earned
her numerous awards including Romantic Times Best Silhouette Romance of 1999,
two-time Rita finalist, National Readers' Choice Award finalist,
two-time recipient of the Missouri Writers' Guild Best Romance Novel award,
Write Touch Readers' Award, Golden Quill, Aspen Gold, Texas Gold and Rising Star
contests.

Her hobbies are drinking Coca-Cola and
eating chocolate, especially Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food Ice Cream.
